My mom taught me to sew when I was 8 years old and I absolutely hated it. Who knew it would become one of my greatest enjoyments (and frustrations) in life?

At the end of last year I got the crazy idea that I needed to be Rococo and make a sack back. But before I could get to get any drafting, I'd have to make the foundation garments. First up was the stays! I used Butterick 4254 in View A and sized down about two sizes. More info to come but very proud of my first pair of stays. I want to now make a set for the renaissance fair or something lol.
